Nephritis means that the inflammation of our kidneys. It may be caused by infection and autoimmune disorders. It can rarely be generically inherited, though the disease may not present in childhood.
Nephritis which occurs in about 60% adults and 90%of children, it may disrupt to their life. However, for those whose disease doesn't get better and instead progresses into more serious condition, advanced kidney failure may have developed before they have had any reason to seek medical help.
Nephritis may occurs due to many factors including auto-immune disorders, infections, and other diseases. It is commonly that the patients’ disease developed into acute nephritis after they have suffered from ailments like strep throat, rheumatic fever, and scarlet fever.
Streptococcus bacteria often causes some damage to the kidney's filtering units, which lead to the patients and adults get nephritis.
Adult Nephritis may be caused by pneumonia, vasculitis, or the inflammation of person's blood vessels, mumps and hepatitis.
